Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP) berencana menaikkan lagi standar kelulusan Ujian Nasional (UN) pada 2010. Ketua BSNP, Prof Mungin Eddy Wibowo di Semarang, Senin (29/6) mengatakan, standar kelulusan UN setiap tahun memang selalu mengalami kenaikan. “Tahun lalu standar kelulusan 5,25, naik menjadi 5,5 tahun ini, dan rencananya pada 2010 akan dinaikkan lagi,” katanya.
Menurut dia, kenaikan standar kelulusan UN didasarkan pada standar pendidikan nasional dan diharapkan dapat memacu motivasi peserta didik dan guru. “Kenaikan standar kelulusan UN juga dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan tingkat pembelajaran dan proses pencapaian pendidikan,” katanya. Namun, menurut dia, BSNP tetap akan melihat dan mempertimbangkan keragaman pencapaian pendidikan di setiap daerah yang akan dianalisis dan dievaluasi.
Menurut dia, ada tiga pihak yang dapat melakukan penilaian pendidikan. Pertama pendidik lewat ulangan atau tugas, kedua satuan pendidikan lewat ujian sekolah, dan terakhir pemerintah lewat UN. Karena itu, salah satu pencapaian pendidikan yang dapat dijadikan tolok ukur adalah tingkat kelulusan UN. “Tingkat kelulusan UN di setiap daerah memang bervariasi, namun secara umum menunjukkan kenaikan dibandingkan dengan tahun lalu,” katanya.
Padahal, kata dia, standar kelulusan dari semula sebesar 5,25 untuk rata-rata seluruh mata pelajaran yang diujikan, dinaikkan menjadi sebesar 5,5 pada tahun ini. Ia mengatakan, kenaikan tingkat kelulusan UN secara umum tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan standar pendidikan nasional dan pencapaian satuan pendidikan di beberapa daerah.
Selain itu, kata dia, kenaikan standar UN juga akan dipertimbangkan dari beberapa aspek, antara lain standar isi, standar kompetensi lulusan, standar pendidik, dan standar proses. Mungkin belum menetapkan besaran kenaikan standar kelulusan UN pada 2010.
Ia mengatakan, BSNP perlu membicarakan dan menganalisis lebih dulu hasil-hasil yang dicapai oleh setiap satuan pendidikan di seluruh daerah untuk menentukan besar standar kelulusan UN nantinya. “Tapi, kami memastikan kenaikan standar kelulusan UN tidak akan dilakukan secara drastis, namun akan dilakukan secara bertahap dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek,” katanya. Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Tingkat kelulusan Ujian Nasional 2010 menurun empat persen dari tahun lalu. Angka kelulusan yang semula 93,74 persen kini menjadi 89,88 persen. Pengumuman kelulusan akan diterima para siswa, Senin besok.
Berdasarkan data Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, terdapat 154.079 siswa yang mengulang dari total peserta 1.522.162 siswa. Bagi siswa yang gagal akan diberikan kesempatan mengikuti ujian ulang, Mei mendatang.(****)

Dari deretan atas daftar orang terkaya di dunia tersebut masih didominasi wajah-wajah lama seperti Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Laskmi Mittal dan beberapa yang lain. Dan untuk urutan pertama atau orang terkaya di dunia 2010 ini dipegang oleh Carlos Slim dari Meksiko dengan total kekayaan mencapai USD 53,5 Miliar terpaut lebih banyak USD 500 juta dari runner up yang dipegang oleh Bill gates bos dari Microsoft.
Tahun inipun jumlah orang terkaya yang berhasil didata meningkat dari 793 orang terkaya menjadi 1,011 orang. Sebagian besar masih didominasi oleh warga Amerika Serikat (40 persen) dan terbesar dari kota New York. Negara kedua penghasil orang terkaya di dunia dipegang Cina yang menggeser Russia yang pada tahun lalu menjadi runner up. Jumlah orang terkaya dari Cina meningkat cukup tajam diikuti peningkatan jumlah orang terkaya dari Asia lainnya yang cukup naik tahun ini.

Sedangkan orang paling kaya di dunia denganusia tertua yaitu 99 tahun dipegang oleh Walter Haefner dari Switzerland.
Seperti dikutip Indocashregister.com dari Forbes menyebutkan Carlos Slim peningkatan kekayaannya tahun ini cukup meningkat sangat signifikan, raja telekomunikasi dari Meksiko tersebut melejit setelah membeli perusahaan telekomunikasi milik pemerintah Meksiko yang memiliki hak monopoli telekomunikasi di negara tersebut. Kekayaannya meningkat dari USD 18,5 Miliar menjadi USD 53, 5 Miliar.
